MOCC (MEN'S OBSTACLE COURSE CHALLENGE)

The MOCC is an athletic challenge consisting of two (2) criteria's:

1) Obstacle Course

2) Fitness Skills

The Obstacle Course is a 160 yard course consisting of a 10 foot wall, running grid, incline decline monkey bars, balance beam, 15 foot cargo net, shuttle run, 3 hurdles (30 inches), 20 inch steeple chase jump, 25 yard sprint, 36 inch under bar and 40 inch over bar.

There are penalties for obstacles not completed correctly. The scoring is done on a 10.0 point system. The formula used is the following:

200 minus time divided by 16 = score

Fitness Skills are three different skills:

1) Bench press - 80 % of bodyweight for repetitions

2) Shuttle run - 10 bean bag run from 20 feet for time.

3) Box jump - 50 repetitions on a 20 inch box for time

All three (3) are calculated into a 10.0 point system and averaged.

1) Bench press - 5.0 plus .10 for each repetition (maximum 50 repetitions)

2) Shuttle run - 200 minus time divided by 17 = score

3) Box jump - 200 minus time divided by 16 = score

The Obstacle Course points are combined with the Fitness Skill points to create a Dual Fitness Score - Overall MOCC score.
