In 2001, ShaNay Norvell won the WTF Obstacle Course at the World Challenge in Las Vegas, Nevada. This proud member of the A-TeamXtreme comes from an athletic background. This Dayton, Ohio native was a varsity cheerleader, tennis player, band member, along with captain of her track team.

ShaNay (Nay or Sparkplug) has a Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Management and is currently employed as a substitute teacher, personal trainer, pilates and aerobic instructor along with finding time to practice for WTF competitions. Her hobbies include reading, playing the flute, and weight training.

Her goals are to get her Masters in Sports and Exercise Science from Ohio State University and build a resort for women in Special Risks Populations to help them learn how to take care of themselves and their families. She also longs to be in an action film like Matrix. ShaNay finds time in her busy schedule to do fitness modeling throughout the country.
